Our Response To COVID-19

Dear Valued Customer,

PPG appreciate the trust you place in us as your paint supplier and partner. This is a very difficult and unprecedented time, we want to emphasise that you can count on us to uphold the health and safety of our employees, customers and stakeholders as our highest priority as we continue to support you in the current environment.

With this in mind from Monday 18 th May 2020 BROWN BROTHERS® Distribution will be adapting its service to ensure that supply continues to our customers in the most appropriate way. The following will be in place for the foreseeable future, following the government’s social distancing guidelines to protect both employees and customers:

  • A skeleton crew will continue to staff each of the 11 branches.

  • Branches will return to normal working hours of 8AM – 5PM, accepting orders via phone and email. 

  • Customer collections will continue - orders placed on day 1 will be ready for collection from the respective Brown Brothers branch the following day.  For example, if you place an order on Monday, the order will be ready for you to collect at an agreed time the next day (Tuesday).

  • A limited delivery service of 1 delivery day per week will be implemented (based on geographic area – contact branch for specific details)

  • Orders for delivery have to be received at least the day before the required delivery

We will continue to review the balance of business needs whilst keeping our employees and customers safe, any changes to our service will be communicated as necessary.
