New Moldex Masks Launched!

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn by technicians on a day to day basis; therefore it needs to not only offer protection levels that outperform the task being carried out, but it needs to be comfortable to wear and as userfriendly as possible.

The Moldex 7000 series of reusable face masks have a double head fixing sysem that is fully adjustable to ensure the most comfortable fit for the end user. The maks are made of a soft rubber compund which not only shapes to the contours of the users face but, offers a breathable ventilation solution; this is particulary beneficial when the masks are being used with safety glasses because the masks help reduce misting of the lenses. What's more to help achieve the best possible face fit of the masks the Moldex 7000 product is available in 3 different sizes; small, medium and large.

Mask filtration is very important because the filtration system is what protects users from the hazards in the workplace. The P2R filters will protect against toxic dust to a specification of 10x work place exposure levels, these filters are easy to fit to the resuable face mask by using the 3 locator tabs and locking into place. The standard filters can be upgraded by using a charcoal filter, in addition to a P2R filter; this is the Class 1 gas filter for use in welding.  

Another fantastic concept offered alongside the Moldex mask range is the handy storage container. A common problem with masks and PPE in the industry is that the equipment is often left exposed to air contamination; however by keeping them in an airtight container it ensures the equipment stays clean and safe.
