Most bodyshops use a 1K PUR multi-purpose sealer or adhesive for general applications. . Bodyline’s PUR Seam Sealer is a single component sealer that proves excellent adhesion and has the added benefit of being over-paintable after it is cured. Undoubtedly PUR sealers still remain a good product but they do not necessarily meet the demands of the repair processes we adopt today in terms process times
MS polymer sealers and adhesives are the next generation of silicones and mastics. Not only do they meet the needs of bodyshops in terms of process time and efficiency they have many application benefits as well to help reduce the risk of application mistakes and need for re-work.
Bodyline’s MS Wet-On-Wet Sealer has the advantages of being over-paintable “wet-on-wet” reducing idle time for the bodyshop. Other benefits include zero-shrinkage and excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates.MS sealers and adhesives have the added benefit of being solvent and isocyanate free meaning they are environmentally friendly and eliminate the chance of solvents getting trapped within the paint.

The Bodyline Wet-On-Wet MS sealer is also extremely versatile as it can be brushed out to achieve a OEM replication finish unlike any PUR sealer.
Overall, by choosing to use a MS sealer not only will you notice considerable application and finish benefits but it will also ultimately lead to process saving benefits.
